  • Ceramic coated stuff is back on car

So i had my exhaust manifold and downpipe ceramic coated (high luster) looks fantastic (for now) and so i'll post some photos somewhere. and of course, were there any power gains...? all i can say is "i dunno"... i think my clutch is going AGAIN. yeah car is fast. "seems" to really move now. Sounds a little better now that the crack in the DP is fixed and I put kick ass exhaust clamps to hold everything tight.

    ceramic coating rocks

yeah, its actually not bad pricing at all. Like, you'd see better gains from that then a useless intake (on 1.8T only) - definately worth it. the inside of the manifold was like glass dude.

I would honestly recommend everyone to get turbo housings, exhaust manifolds, downpipes High Luster Ceramic Coated.

Topgun Coatings are among the best in Canada and are used by loads of high-end drag cars and performance beasts... you'll often hear their name mentioned at race city etc...

their phone number is 250-5393 and if you call em just say that Sean Fournier was talking about it etc... get a quote and do it...

Do you mind if I ask how much it cost?

I agree that an intake is useless on a 1.8T, but saying so may start up a flame war!

i LOVE flame wars... the most powerful 1.8T cars i've known had STOCK airboxes... so there...

anyways, i paid nothing if you must know. I get thousands of dollars of work done at Top Gun each month so the owner coated a couple car parts for me for nothing. I think its around $150-200.

Hey yeah... i'm currently running on a ATP stage 2 system...

system is good except for the things i mentioned earlier in the post. I actually want to design my own turbo system for the 1.8T of course the problem isn't money but time. once i'm done working i'm going to take a few months off and design the ultimate turbo system for the 1.8T. TMIC, garret GT series turbo, software, fuel, everything... its going to rock... stay tuned. Once i'm back from chicago 1.8T tunning is going to rock
