I've been haunted again with my 1.8T eating my spark plugs. I had gone through 2 sets nearing the end of last winter when I found a hose with a leak in it. The car held up fine all summer and even into the deep freeze we've had so far. However today, trying to leave work...that same scene came right back to me.
Engine will crank no problem at all, but I just get a little sputter out of the engine at best. Upon taking the plugs out, I saw they were really black, not oily though. I am leaning towards it being the MAF, it used to have a cold air intake in it, however I'm looking for other suggestions that I should take a look at.
