WTB Cheap VW

It seams that i may have sold my VW waiting credit approval, and im looking to get a used car for the winter, until spring.. I dont need anything crazy as cheap as possible, as log as it gets me to the hill and back all winter... I would like to find something in the 500.00 to 1K range lol if that is possible...

i have a friend who has a 1990 jetta needs a clutch thou asking 1200.00
dollars when the clutch is done.
