  • Brullen 2.5" Catback vs other brands

I havent seen any dyno's of the brullen catback or turboback. Would a 2.5" catback differ that much with a different namebrand? Performance wise.

I dunno I think they are all close to the same. I gained nicely from my catback.. I would love to see what my car is like with a turboback. I'm pretty sure I got another 10HP out of my CB anyways and the TB adds about 6-8 so thats a great gain!
I'm very happy with my brullen, the sound is awesome and its not ricey or drony on the highway. However saying that I was originally going to go with an APR turboback but that costs an arm and a leg, but since I got my brullen special, etc thats great too.

The Brullen sounds much nicer than the Techtonics in my opinion. As Ryan put it, some exhausts sound ricey-drony.

On the other hand I think Techtonics gives you better performance.

If you want performance, I would go for Techtonics or Eurosport.... maybe Autotech if you can still get it (C1 used to be able to order them). They also cost more than the Brullen. Lots of Vortexers swear by Milltek too for performance. Jetex (I think) makes a 2.75 exhaust that is even less restrictive without going to a 3 inch.

If you are thinking Techtonics, maybe wait until they see if they can fix mine - because if they can't then there will be two of us with exhausts that don't fit properly. It looks really bad.

Oh, and Ryan, your butt feeling is accurate to within 4% of your cars total horsepower... thats amazing!!!
