Well I went to talked to my salesman @ Southgate and it ended up becoming me being bent over and takin it up tha POOPER :thumbsdwn or stickin with the GTI and walikin straight. .. I took the later!

They would give me 19,ooo :( for my car and then refinance the owed money on top of the Passat..... which in tuen would equal a 6,ooo dollar loss and a huge monthly payment which I am not ready to commit too....:yahsure:

So I guess I am waitin till 2005 when the new engines come out in the Passat then I will get one.... .

Until then i guess i keep dumpin money into the GTI... Ahhhw well I love that car.... :mrfinger:

I heard that 2005 is for Europe and 2006 is for North America but I could be wrong. The Passat is the #1 seller for mid-sized sedans/wagons in Europe.

How many KM's on your GTI?

There's always private sale. You can get almost what the dealer gets for it and since you don't NEED to sell it, you can tell the low ballers where to go. Of course, the test drivers and tire kickers can be a pain.

That is a good move on not loosing that much of $ on a trading-in on that Passat. Wait for a good chance for a private sale or a brand new one.
