  • Winter Tires + Steelies

I was wondering if any of you could recommend some good stores (preferably in Red Deer or the ECR) to get properly-sized steelies (and winter tires) for my 08 GTI. Places like Canadian Tire don't have 16" steelies in the 5x112 bolt pattern and other places that do have them for $$$.

Make sure you get "direct fit" wheels" not the crappy "multifit" ones for $30. Don't get them from the stealership. I think they charge ~$120 for OEM VW steelies.

I called Norden and they are charging $160 per 5x112 16" steelie They're more expensive than the tires that they are selling them with (Pirelli Winter Carving).

Screw it then and get alloys! Winter needs more ball-uh's anyways!
