thats what i was trying to do.. H2sport in ontario told me they give deals if you get a SPS2 or 3 module, the software and a forge DV.. so if we do 2 orders we might save 100 bucks each.. better than nothing.. i think a package with the software, SPS3 (full module 91,93,100,blah blah) and 007 DV was like 800-850US so like 1000-1100 for everything

Yah, I dunno if I'll go full apeshit - might just get the stock/91/94 proggys. We'll see how much $$ is saved in the spring. Maybe c1 will get some revo (it's really easy to be a dealer).

The other dilema is that stock DVs do perform better than the aftermarkets, they just don't last. But I don't think I'll mind tossing the DV every oil change.

Thats some impressive #'s for stock and 2.25" catback.

You have more horsepower then some peeps with a chip, downpipe, n75, cai. Seems like the chip is just adding Torque

I dunno - I still think a CAI moves the band around rather than actually raising your HP. If you use the wrong size etc you can easilly lose hp as well.

There are reasons it looks like peoples chips are just adding torque- surge is a problem sometimes, and it only affects horsepower on the dyno and not max torque. 176 at the wheels is really high for stock though, that must be a *good* cat-back system!

                        Pics and such:

                        http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1038093

Fitment was excellent, it's a bit loud but the guys on Vortex say it will get quieter.

Dyno is in the orig post as well. Gain was 9.6HP, 5.1 TQ.

Are you sure dynos are adjusted for altitude?
