I have been thinking of getting one but never get around to it. What are your questions.

I know the questions, what to do with the CCV is the big one.
From a little reading you got yours from street toys, so did my brother and he had the same questions. He has solved the problem, drilled the hole and found the rubber gromet. He just looked at mine which has it all done and figured it out, not rocket science honestly.

why are you doing a omi.?
          the gains are minimal .
i have one here i was going to put it on the smoked you tdi . and do another dyno to find out the gains . but i know that cars is already making alot with the stock inlet . and a upgraded intake

Re: Anyone with an Oldman intake?

Mostly guys do it because the turbo's these days have a bigger inlet then the stock intake has so you either find a way to go bigger, or just get an omi. The omi is easier and has less turns which means less restrictions for air flow. Do the HP gains tell you much, probably not. The cost/HP gains make not much sense, but normally once you do the chip, injectors, and turbo the gains become way more $$$ for little HP.

Re: Anyone with an Oldman intake?

Bart besides Europe, where can I get an intake like that? Or the better question, how much do we pay you to get it for us?
I can't spend $420 from tdi parts for the intake or the $350 they want for that intake pipe. You have connections????

Re: Anyone with an Oldman intake?

The OMI is helpful for air restrictions as the "pancake" pipe is very restrictive to a smooth airflow. From what I have heard there is only about a 5ft-lb gain but there is a lot less smoke.
