  • UpSolute Chip

Is anybody here running the UpSolute chip that you can get from EU Tuning?
If so how have you found it, I am looking at it for my new GLI and just comparing my options.
Current: Golf R and a corporate lease nobody cares about

    Re: UpSolute Chip

I have an Upsolute file in my 1.8t Passat and like it, very different car than stock and have had no issues. good drivability and power. I have no other chip experience though and can't tell you if it better or worse than an alternative for a given application. If I was in the market I would be pretty tempted by this (available at Tunedub) and specifically the 93 octane option. :

I have had a few Upsolute chips from Simon over the years and have never been disappointed with the product or service.

        Re: UpSolute Chip

I had a chip in my Mk4 and it was great, nobody could argue that it wasn't as fast as other chips and the driving experience was great.

The only reason in my opinion to get other products is if you want features like switching programs etc.

I'm REVO'd. I dunno if it's any better than anything else. It's got a hell of a lot more jam than stock tho.

If you only ever plan mild upgrades and still want to keep within stock drivabilty then UPsolute is the way to go. If you plan on driving the crap out of it and doing a lot of modding then a switchable program like Revo might be the way to go.

yes but if you ever plan on upgrading using a company like unitronic that will upgrade the software as you upgarde your car all the way up to a bigturbo setup is the way to go . and even eurotuner has stated no software is as smooth as unitronic . i have run all of them but apr and i would never go any other way . the upsolute car with 3 inch turbo back and front mount and tip only made 198 whp at the show this weekend .......he is sending his ecu away to get undone so i can re tune it using unitronic
