  • Ebay coils?

I was looking on ebay and you can get adjustable coils for like $40.

    Re: Ebay coils?

They are just sleeves that go over your stock shocks so the ride would be very compromised as you would be on compressed shocks all the time depending on how low they are set. I am also not sure how they stay on the shocks with out moving but the overall point is I would think they would be horrendous, suspension is one thing you should never cheap out on in my opinion.

really bad ride quality. I knew of a mk2 jetta with dropzone's and it was retarded. REALLY bouncy. They don't fit on the shock all that well either.

Lots of people used to put them on Civics back in the day.

Even on a Civic the suspension geometry and design is probably more forgiving than the horrible mess of design that is the VW Mk4.

I would avoid ebay for car parts in general.
