So I'm going to be doing the cruise out with everyone, and I'm interested in how to get some good rolling shot with a simple point and click cam. Any special tricks to keep the pics from bluring? I know there are a few guru's here so suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Re: In prep for euroquake...
you need lots of light, and a fast shutter. you'll probably have some sort of basic shutter control where you can increase/decrease exposure. My point and shoot doesn't have specific shutter speeds, but it has and exposure setting where 0 is normal, and you can increase and decrease is a bit.
Fast shutter will reduce blur, but needs more light. Slow shutter needs less light, but will cause motion blur. If its a nice day sunny day, the point and shoot will probably already adjust itself to a fast shutter to avoid over exposing. If its cloudy, you may have to find the setting and force it.
ISO and aperture can be tweaked to get a better result, but it's likely you won't have many options here.
Hard to say what can be set on your camera. My point and shoot is pretty basic.Stefan

Re: In prep for euroquake...
yea most cameras have speed shoot setting
everyone lets TAKE 10000000 pics.. rolling and show shots! can't wait for teh weekend see all the southern ab people at tims
Okay for all the southern alberta people we will cruise up together.
Blair is leaving early to meet Chris to organize somethings so the rest will cruise the myself aka vice pres.
We will all meet at the Tim Hortons just off Mcknight and Deerfoot in the NE
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...9&ie=UTF8&z=16
I will be there at 830 and we will roll out at 9:15 AM
It will take roughly 45-1hr to reach Red Deer and show roll in is from 9-12 so that will give everyone enough time to stop, wash cars, eat and hit the show for detailing.
Any questions please let me know! Lets make this happen guys and see 50+ euros on the road! Cameras and rolling shots ahoy!
Thanks
Ryan
