  • Question >CAI<

OK I've had this Intake for about 3 months now, and it seems when at 3/4 throtle i hear a "SHHHHHHHH" sound which is the suction of air then i hear a "PSHHHHH" like i let of the throtle but did not let it off. Any thoughts?:mrfinger:

I know what you mean. That **** bothers me too. You have to know what is the cause of every sound. Normal or abnormal. I think that sound might be the N75 doing its thing.

            It isn't the N75 valve...

Are you full boosting at 3/4 throttle? Are you on the stock DV?

After you serviced it, did it help at all. It almost sounds like your 006 isn't holding the boost. It isn't the H n75 valve, the only thing the H N75 valve does is bleed the boost a little more to allow for a higher spike, it doesn't allow you to sustain more boost.

ya it helped... a bit.... it has nt done it in a while so... its almost like when at 1/2 throttle u get the whooshhh sound the whole time and not just upon letting off the gas like usual...:mrscrewy:

Yes, your DV is probably not holding the vaccuum right... when you serviced the DV, did you do the vaccuum test on it?

the one where u put the pen inside and hold the yop so the piston doesnt fall?

I guess that is one way of doing it, just make sure the piston is completely compressed, and cover up the vaccuum nipple, and the piston should stay. That makes sure that it is a perfect vaccuum. One other thing you might want to do is reverse the DV...see if that helps.
