Where is the best place to buy .205 nozzles for my '01 Jetta TDI? Concept1 has them for $144, Autobraun in Edmonton has them for $134. Or should I order them from Kerma or TDIparts in the US?

Re: Nozzles in Calgary
Mine were complete injectors. I got them from Simon (Boy Racer). Not sure what TDIs used them, but I'm pretty sure they are an OEM part.
You have a boost gauge or boost valve? If not, do that before injectors or chip. I had crazy spiking that I didnt know about until my gauge was in.Stefan

Re: Nozzles in Calgary
I changed just the nozzles on mine, it isn't that hard to do but you really should get them pop tested afterwards. If you haven't done chip yet do that before anything else. Then add a boost gauge and boost valve to stop spiking like Stefan said.Name: Brent

Re: Nozzles in Calgary
wouldn't expect you'd have to re-chip. I have and Upsolute chip. Didn't change anything after injectors were added. Chip should come first though in my opinion.
Expect a lot of extra smoke with your injectors!Stefan

Re: Nozzles in Calgary
I believe you will massively over fuel if you do injectors before a chip as you might not be able to adjust the IQ into range.Name: Brent

Re: Nozzles in Calgary
Well in my TDi experience and what I have read from TDICLUB nozzles should be first, chip, turbo, exhuast, fuel pump should all come next
I have installed Kerma nozzles before which were the PP520's. Without any other air (Turbo) supporting mods you should not go any bigger then the PP520's. In terms of the tuning the qloader sounds great, never used it though.
Just to give you a heads up, the mod slope is very slippery and can eat away extra funds... Trust me with TDi's I know all to wellLast edited by Benjamin; 08-14-2008, 10:50 PM.Ben

Re: Nozzles in Calgary
the smoke can be managed . but i recommend the sprint 520s from kerma , and a unitronic chip to operate them , first q tho is your car a manual .?if it is a auto . don't do more than a chip . pm me for the nozzles i am The kerma dealer for Alberta and have the necessary equipment to set the nozzles . and the chip you can get done here in red deer or at tune dub in Calgary .sigpic

Re: Nozzles in Calgary
my smoke isn't very well managed. :( Dropped the IQ a bit, which helps. I think I just need more air, and I'm not in to a bigger turbo at the moment.Stefan
