    Re: FK coilovers?

I had FK's on my GTI. There were ok but they were a bit rough, i also found then the road got bumpy at speeds over 100km, the car felt like it was leaving the ground almost a floating feeling. I did not like that, but for the most part were not bad. If i got a set for a good price i would buy them again.

hmm. well it depends what line you are looking at. My bro has the silverlines on his car rides pretty wicked. It kinda dpends on how much money you want to spend also..on dubberz.com in the "store" section. im pretty sure there will be another group buy for Ksports..they are wicked, i run them on my wagon. it would cost too much for what you get. Check them out if you havent already!

I bought used hagard ass fk's for pretty cheap a while back, took me an hour or so to clean em up, then installed they do go real low, and the ride is pretty decent for how low they are.... friends with low cars are always impressed with the ride

If you're looking for stock like handling but a lower stance, you want a cup kit not coil overs.

                    Re: FK coilovers?

The lower end ones(AK, powertech, highsport, streetline) are trash. The higher end ones will cost you the same as some kw's, weitecs, konis and H&R. Don't bother with FK..

My friend had them on his MkV GTI. Didn't like them at all. They were really really rough and bouncy. Get KW's and you won't be sorry.
