Weird problem with my car... Checkengine light!

Well. this morning i started up my car(normally i dont drive to work..but my brand new bike go stolen.) anyhow, i let it warm up for a few mins, when i get into the car its seems it has a really rough idle and its slightly surging forward... Has anyone else expirenced this before? should i just get it towed to the dealship?
