i understand that.. but i have seen a 22inch tire on a 23 inch rim in Arizona..
Sorry man, but this is impossible. The bead of a tire is actually made of some seriously strong steel cords and it will not ever stretch an inch wider that it is designed for. The belt would snap long before that could ever happen. That is why they stopped making 16.5 inch diameter wheels. People would try and mount 16 inch tires on the 16.5 inch rim (or by accident) and they would force to much air in trying to get the beads to seat and they would explode and injure or kill the installers. I had it happen to me when an old farmer brought me a mounted wheel and tire to inflate because he wasn't able to seat the beads "because his compressor was to weak" he said. I started to blow it up and my compressor was not weak. The bead bundle snapped and the tire blew and knocked me flat on my ass. Turned out he put a 16 on an old 16.5 rim. My own fault for not investigating first, but you can see whyt it could happen. No way will a tire bead stretch an entire inch and seat up...

That makes sense. but i also know that i did see a 22 inch tire on a 23 inch rim. it was on one of those Donk cars or whatever the hell you call them, old school impala ss all jacked up. the lettering was all white on the tire (obviously painted, or rubber stained) and the car's spec sign said 23 inch rims.

Not real buddy... He may have just not changed his badge or hoped people wouldn't notice trying to look baller, but it simply is impossible.

i have heard of people doing this before but never seen anyone doing this in person...althought anything can be possible, my guess is someone dosnt know their wheel sizes and is claiming that their wheels are bigger then they are to get more baller points lol
