I am pretty sure that no one with a K03 holds constant boost to redline... It falls off, its going to fall off to the same amount no matter what N75 valve you have as the turbo runs out of breath. Anyway, you won't get any more boost from a J version valve. The best way I would describe the effect is that it just puts the boost in different places. Possibly the H version would give you more of a peak boost.
Of course pressure is a good indicator of how your turbo is performing. However I do not think that it is an absolute metric (there is no silver bullet). It seems to me that if you hold less pressure for longer then this may yeild comparable results. I am not saying that I hold less pressure for longer, this is a hypothetical situation. Since I do not have affordable constant access to a dyno, I won't say if this valve will decrease your times at the track. However it does seem to eliminate surging and smooth out power delivery.
Incidentally, I usually shift way before redline so I am not really sure how much boost I would be holding.
