wondering if anyone can guess whats wrong. my car is absolutely fine in town and dosn't move from the 90 on my temp gauge until i get to 90km's+ then it slowly raises until it pretty much overheats at like 110 km's per hour. any thoughts?

Mine acted kinda like that when the water pump was done. If its the original water pump, its made of plastic and can crack and spin on the shaft. It may still work some of the time, but at speed its too much and starts to overheat.

I believe the total bill for the water pump when I had mine done about 2 years ago was around $900
