  • New 2004 TDI Jetta

For any of you TDI nuts out there, we finally got our jetta with the new engine in it (the dealership i work at not me personally) no injection pump looks pretty wierd after all these years of the pump being in the same spot. It is still a 1.9 but uped the torque and horsepower a little. You can feel the difference when leaving a light etc but not so much more on the highway when passing. Still pretty neat to see a different motor after playing with the same old ones everyday. Next month we are supposed to get our Passats with the 130 horse 2.0 TDI, should be interesting in a passat. Now i'm still waiting to PDI an R32 hahahahahaha (i wish):mrscrewy:

Hey Tim... you are at the Medicine Hat VW location? What's the dealership name? If Bart and I drive out on the weekend -- you think we can take it for a test drive?

Let me know -- thanks bro.

ummm, the passat i think will have a 1.9 tdi, i havent heard of any 2.0 tdi's that are 130, they're either 140 or 160, but that wont be used for sure, only the audi a3 gets that and the new golf 5 in europe. i may be wrong though.

Hell yeh come down and we will offroad a Toureg, it is amazing what it will do offroad, when you stop on a hill and then slowly crawl up its like a winch is pulling you up (minus all the noises from the abs system doing its magic). The down hill decent feature is cool too you just drive off a steep hill and you don't need to touch the brakes it does it for you!! Its a fun machine offroad, VW did their homework in that department. I have been out twice in one of the ones on our lot but its only a v6 with no air suspension, when i did the Toureg training in Vancouver a few months ago we took a v8 with air suspension places a v6 with no air susp could not go, it was fun to thrash a little, he he.
