    Re: Project "quicksilver"

So what are you paying Andrew for rent on that garage space? 2 or 3 beers a day? He could make a small fortune renting that space out haha

Well, whatever it is, the rent stopped this morning...

The car has been towed down to Calgary Autoworks for the final step.

that would be a novel concept wouldn't it....people cleaning up and giving something like beer for free use of space

He's just upset that my car's going to be able to keep up to his again...

...and give me a little time Andrew... the beer will come shortly, I've been working all weekend.

Why not just consider it back payment?

Hoping to get some 'butt dyno' numbers by the end of the week. It'll probably be a couple weeks before I get it on an actual dyno and post up the results...

                      Re: Project "quicksilver"

I stopped by Calgary Autoworks on the way home today. The car is up and running!

The piping looks absolutely amazing. (Great job guys!!) As long as no problems arise in their testing, I should have the car back tomorrow. I'll make sure to get some pictures up here right after I can peel myself away from driving it... (so in about a month ... )

                        Re: Project "quicksilver"

Well... I finally managed to get myself out of the driver's seat long enough to post up pictures...

                        The finished product:

Thanks again to everyone who helped out.

The car is incredibly fast (yes, faster than before )... and rock solid. Dyno numbers will be coming within the month, track times will be coming (hopefully... weather permitting) this upcoming Friday at Race City.
