Warm up period?

I have a 03 1.8t Passat with an upsolute file and no other mods. I have been noticing lately that when I get in the car in the AM to go to work and in the afternoon to go home (so after it has been off for a while) that it feels really lazy for the first little bit, today I timed it and it is approx 5 mins, well after the temp gauge shows the car is warm. After that the boost comes in, like it should, at about 2K and the car is its normal quick fun self. During the first little bit I cannot really hear the turbo spooling until after 3k or so. Anyway, bugs me. Anyone have any ideas?

Coolant temp sensor replaced...All better now...
