  • where to buy coil packs

    Hi,

    Anyone tell me best place to buy new coils for the 2000 golf, thats the screw down type. Oh and while im doing this what spark plug number do i need (yes Kris, i can look it up but just thought id ask while writing this ).

    Screw ones are expensive, I'd personally stick OEM and use a club discount but that's me. Plugs depend if you're going copper, and if you're chipped, etc.

      yeah not chipped just want std plugs for stock car, it has the wrong ones in now apparently

        Bosch Plugs Fr7dpp33 12.50 Each
        Ngk N6458 16.90 Each
        Coils 42.40 Each
        After market coils 32.00 each screw down type,out of B.C

          Hey thanks Paul,

          For plugs I actually found the model number NGK PFR6Q off vortex and have put those in and it actually cured the misfire so it was a plug that was knackered. but ill give you a shout in a bit hopefully.

            i thought so,those screw down coils don't fail that often.
