A little color matched paint and lots of prep goes a long way I think.

I see you did them attached to the car to avoid bleeding afterwards. do you think its more work masking then just taking the caliper off altogether. is it just dupli color tornado red? ohh and what kind of lowering do you have? its a nice ride height looks stock--->but betterLast edited by 62degVR6; 05-20-2008, 11:55 AM.2003 Jetta GLI VR6

As far as the paint goes I had it mixed at a paint and body supply place. I just gave them the paint code for my car and he put it in a spray balm for 25 bucks.
My suspension consists of Intrax springs (1.5" drop) and Tokiko Blue struts.[/I]Last edited by Guysmiley; 02-04-2009, 05:03 PM.

Re: My little long weekend project
You can buy caliper paint at canadian tire for under 10 bux. The can is big enough to do all 4 sides. Make sure to shake the can very very well or it will look more orange(if choosing to go with red) Also id really prep up the calipers...sanding and primer(if possible) Mine are starting to peel and i did them less then a year ago.Originally posted by RedMileDon't bug the receiver though, he's far to busy to help you out.Originally posted by Smarty39haha, thanks man...I take it you're the receiver lol?

Re: My little long weekend project
i just picked up the autotech 28mm, but probably would have bought the neuspeed if i could have done so locally. From what ive read the neuspeed is a much easier install, plus it would go with your red theme =)Last edited by jrockmk2; 05-25-2008, 09:15 PM.02 GTI
