Yeah haha they are Miro 279. Good enough for me!! I however won't be using BBS or BB5 center caps. Who makes decals to put over my Miro Center caps I was thinking a local sticker shop or someone who does that in their spare time?? (I hate ebay)

And also I removed the middle perch for the rears because it is pretty useless!

Are 225/40/18 the lowest profile you guys would do for 18x8 offset 35?

This guy messaged me about his on the vortex, they look a little thick but it could just be his car

215/35/18s work on 18x8s as well, a little less meat to the tires but also much nicer sized sidewall...

isn't 215 on a 8 in rim a little much stretch, my stock vw wheels are 225/45/R17 I would think you would want at least 225 on 8 in rims. maybe I'm crazy though I'm no tire and wheel expert.

235's are vertical an 8" rim
225's have a slight stretch look the 8" rim
225's are vertical on a 7.5" rim

A 225/40R18 matches the same OD of the factory tire and keeps the speedo correct. This is what I have always done.

I have 18x8s with 215/35 and they do stretch a little but the sidewall is nice and thin similar to electrical tape wrapped around the rims...
perfect if you think the 225/40s look too "thick"
