  • Chipped and ready!

I just got the 93 and 91 programs from APR. The 91 is insane and I just filled up on 92 octane from husky. Am I okay running the 93 octane program with 92 octane gasoline?? I thought they had 94 but I guess its only 92 (the one on bow trail). I searched for previous posts but I just wanted to double check that it is in fact OKAY to run the 93 program on 92 gas.

??? Bow Trail at 37th? I haven't been there this season but last year it was on both pumps nearest the building. They even have dedicated nozzles for it. It is not on the outer full serve pumps though.

I would wait for 94 before running the 93 program. Our altitude would probably be ok but it's an agressive program to begin with. 91 is still plenty quick.

Yeah, I live up the hill from that station so I figured I would swing by.

They had 87,89 and 92. I didn't see 94 anywhere. I used the self serve pumps. I did see that there were two hoses on the OTHER gas pump but I am not sure exactly what it was, I am thinking now it is the 94 octane?? I did use 93 on the way home everything seemed okay. I might change back to 91 to be sure.

91 would even be fine up here dont worry about it.

i am running 91 on a 42lb 93 octane C2 software after confirmation it would be more than fine at this elevation

Sure it's ok, your car will just pull some timing and not run quite as well. You'd probably squeeze more power out of it running the 91 program though. Much smoother timing curve if you're not getting pre-det and engine knock.

The 94 oct gas is on the north east pump.

                    Re: Chipped and ready!

I used to fill my turbo honda with 94 all the time at Husky on 42and ave and McLeod. It was a pain in the ass having to drive out there all the time.
