    How hard is it?

I just got some from a guy on the Vortex now I need to paint them up. Included was some sort of glue stuff and a "spatula" amongst other things. He got them from the dealer so I am assuming its okay to use this stuff? Would 3M exterior 5-LBS test tape work better + some screws?

I'm normally a DIY guy but how much does a shop cost to put these on?

I believe you can get clips to put some on rather than using the tape and glue a cleaner and easier solution if you ever need to take them off. but thats all i know sorry

Thanks for the reply. Here's a picture of the glue & tools i got:

Here is the one of the sideskirts. How do I tell if it has primer or not? It looks pretty smooth and the inside is black. Do they come ready to paint from the dealer?

      Thanks.

Putting them on is easy, I used tape and the screws from the fender liner. I don't like the glue because some of the adhesives cannot be removed without repainting the car.

            Re: Side Skirt Install

I just pulled mine off of my car and that glue was a PITA to get off. Tried heat and every kind of thinner imaginable and finally resorted to razor blades and sanding to get it off.

I don't recommend using glue either, I would rather re-do it every spring than glue it if I did sideskirts again.

                Re: Side Skirt Install

Yikes! I don't think I will use the glue then haha! I'll double side tape. So should the ends of the skirts go over the black plastic inside wheel fender parts where the screws go? I would think they would. I wish I could see some pictures of an install just for reference, the one of Vortex was all red x's. Any tips or things to keep in mind when doing this?
