  • Kinetics new BT setup

Here are a few pics of Kinetics new BT setup. They have yet to release any info about it, however the owner of the car has told a few people that it is pushing 480WHP.

One of the guys over at Kinetic recently posted the following:

"you look at the set up and think "yeah thats fast...."

but when you sit in it and it's pushing 26lbs with water meth it's not just "fast"....it's, "hey im going to eat a vette for brunch fast"

Here are a few pics stolen from the original thread.

I thought I should post this up for those who don't frequent other forums. Its been a pretty popular subject....and for good reason.

Are they selling it all as a kit? With programming?

Nope, not yet anyway. And the intake manifold is a one off custom.

          whoa whoa whoa.

so much misinformation flying around here.

The car and kit posted is currently a one off kit designed by Kinetic, by Shawn Van Neer, the head of Kinetic. It is Shawn's car this is going into. Everything is currently one off, though there are talks about released pieces of what he built as a kit in the future.
The intake manifold was one off, with more machine time than any of you would care to know.

Oh not such a big deal then, its not the first nice looking one-off 1.8T

I thought this was being sold as a kit, that would be huge.

Exactly, if you could order it tomorrow THEN it would be exciting.

                Re: Kinetics new BT setup

Kinetic has been pretty tight lipped about the setup and are going to be announcing further info soon. Kinetic has already stated that they have no plans on making any more of the intake mani's and that the kit itself will not be exactly as shown in the pics.

The car itself will be featured in a up coming eurotuner issue as the photoshoot already took place not too long ago.

I really like it, except I think the intake is very long, and also isn't the exhaust on the wrong side of the car, I wonder how they pipe it down below.

My bad. I made the thread in a short amount of time as I was just about to head out. I forgot to mention all the details.
