  • injen CAI

hey guys... my buddy had a injen CAI for 1.8T that he was selling for a fairly cheap price (b/c i've known him for a while)

but i've heard some bad things about these things.... like they are not good for rainy weather as the moisture likes to mess around with it... any feedback/experience on this???

and if thats the case im assuming it wont be too good in snow either..... anyways let me know what you guys think or have heard or even exp..

    thanks guys

    cheers....

        Re: injen CAI

umm ya ive read through that guide before but i was asking specifically about the INJEN brand name...... because i read on some other forums that INJEN CAI's are not too good ...... thats what i was wondering.. .would it be worth getting and INJEN one or should i go with a different brand name......

its just that my buddy is selling it really cheap to me but last i heard i should stay away from INJEN CAI for my 1.8T

so basically what i wanna know is... if anyone is running an INJEN CAI in there 1.8t... how is it????

        cheers !!!

          Re: injen CAI

pretty much all CAIs for the 1.8t are the same (excluding the short ones) the ones that are long and go down low are ALL THE SAME other than the filters.

if you overoil the filter you can kill your MAF.. if you do it right it'll work for years.. i had one on my 1.8t for 2 years straight and never had an issue.. it was an EVO but the injen is the same deal.

The design of the Injen is actually pretty good if I remember. One of the better ones.
