  • Winter Wheels

I'm going to have to buy some winter wheels soon and seeing as OZ Cronos are waaaaay more expensive than I thought, I am somewhat limited to what I can get. I've narrowed it down to four. What do you all reckon?

    FRD 6

    FRD 95

    S4 Replicas

    Monte Replicas

I'm leaning towards the S4 wheels but they all would look pretty good I think.

    Help me decide :urspecial

            sounds like you've already decided!

The FRD 6 looks like it would be easy to hit on stuff, for a winter wheel you might want to consider how easy it is to damage.

Dont get a winter wheel with large gaps because of snow build up...so dont go for 5 spokes unless you really want em

I drove on Monte's the last two winters and it wasn't too bad really. I only had snow build up a couple times but Im not too concerned. I still wanna bling.

save money and just buy tires for your current rims, otherwise get steelies, not point of have two sets of good rims.

I dont want to damage my 18's and I already have a set of 17" Michelin Pilot Alpins. Also, I think 18" winter tires are bloody expensive anyway. So rather than buy steelies & new tires for them, I only need to get some wheels.
