Mileage on 1.8's

Just wondering how else others do with city driving mileage?
I have a 1.8T, 5spd and right now I average 580km per fill up on city driving, about 45ltres per fill.

No... ever since my new 02 sensor and DP install... (Monday of this week...) I've been getting MUCH better then my previous 250KM to a tank!

I have been trying hard to get lots of mileage these days and I can get about 540 when the fuel light comes on, but I cannot go a whole tank without giving her a little juice every once and a while, tried to show up a modded 7 series the other night

Being just a tad on the anal retentive/obsessive compulsive side, I've recorded the mileage at every fillup since I bought the car. (Wanna see the graph?) I usually get 440km city (less in winter, more in summer) and somewhere around 600 highway if I'm a good boy.

Thats pretty much where I'm at as well! Granted I've only got around 6000km's on the car so hopefully she'll get a bit better.

Right after I fill up it usually shows 670km, and its about right. I do 50/50 city/highway driving.

My record of city mixed with highway was 720. 2nd was 680. I can usually get 600-650 if I'm a good boy though. Lately I've been exercising some power so its been like 550-580.

Using "km per tank" doesn't really tell you much.

16 mpg is my worst.
31 mpg is my best.

Can't afford to have a heavy foot with gas prices right now - I am itching the use 94 octane nearby where I live, but i'm not ready to break the bank on a fill up.
