Side Skirts...Subtle?

Hey - I'm looking for some side skirts that aren't too tacky or 'obvious', so to speak. I'd like to just add a little length and hopefull keep my stock front and rear valences and still have good "flow". Post pics with names and preferably where to buy them. Thanks, guys!

Rieger...yeah right, Ryan...they're huge, aren't they? The GLI skirts are super expensive last time I checked (about $1100 + tax unpainted) at the stealership. What about Votex? What are they worth and where can a guy get a set?

i was joking..actually i dunno if they still make them but the emphase ones were pretty subtle i remember.. like rondal says check the vortex classies.. they'll be cheap with guys modding GLIs and 20ths,etc..

if you want a clean flow tho the OEM would be the best bet.. and paint your front/rear valences..

Because there are never any good ones on the vortex, either overpriced, broken, or local pick up only. I know because I have been looking also. You might try just buying new, maybe from a dealer or www.performance-cafe.com looks like thats where I'm going to have to buy mine from (20th sides and 20th rear valence)

cal VM Autohaus in Vancouver. They sell OE stuff but for cheaper than dealer prices.

My point exactly, and I figured I'd ask some trusty local guys, rather than a bunch of people from "who knows where" - makes a sale a little more convenient. Why is there always someone out there with enough time on their hands to go around criticizing everybody's posts? If you can't help, man, move on...Geesh!

some gli replica skirts would probably look really nice, better than stock but nothing crazy

Anyone have GLI side skirts with stock front and rear valences? I searched the Tex, and there's only one car with that combo (red Jet, black skirts). Anyone with a black Jetta with this setup?
