A few days ago I sold my OEM 03 stock shifter boot/knob to a guy in ontario on vortex.. and yesterday with the bills from selling my knob I bought myself a TT shortshifter (yes A part # ) so this should come next week when I'm gone on vacation and I guess I'll have to get one of my new neighbours to grab it for me.. can't wait to try this out.

Did you get the 2001 model or the 2002+ model?

I ordered my TT shifter... went to C1 to have them install it... and then it was the completely the wrong unit. Would work at all... and I have a 2002.5 Jetta...

it is the new part number with the A on the end make for 02+'s

Awww... you got lucky... I didn't. Oh well... I think I'm going to purchase Yuval's short shifter soon anyways... so it all worked out.

My SS works great of course i have a 01
