Whats inside the PCV valve (crankcase pressure regulating valve) on a mk3 2L? Looks like some kind of diaphragm maybe? Whats the life of these guys?
I've ordered a new one, and the grommet that it seats in, along with the hose to the block because everything was super gungy, and the hose and the grommet has some rubber on it that is breaking down and seeping a little oil.
A lot of moisture in the PCV valve too. Is this normal? I've never seen that on any of my other cars...
