Welcome to the boards!! As for your question of lowering springs vs. coils really depends on budget, how low you want to be, do you want height adjustability??? A nice spring/shock combo will be great balance of drop and handling while coils can be lower but often a harsher ride.

      Welcome again!

        Re: New to the forum

there's currently a lowered springs thread in this section that is being discussed. have a read through that.

I also suggest getting an account on VWVortex (www.vwvortex.com) as it is the largest car site in the world, and its all VW/Audi related. There is an endless amount of info on there. I do suggest searching instead of posting (be sure to select archived search for full effect) as everything you likely want has been discussed in great detail, and making a post to ask will just result in the "USE THE SEARCH" flamefest.

        good luck

take a look at the feedback in the tunedub area of this forum. that may help you make a decision
