Yes, I am 17 yrs old and finalyl reached the point in which I have to shave....so now that I am a "man" :mrscrewy: I am thinking about shaving my car aswell. Does anyone have a clue how much it would be to shav ethe rub strips? And if I were to shave the rub strips, and a few years down the road wanted to sell the car, could i even throw em back on?

if u shave them its permanent, because your filling the original holes that they clip into... of course with enough money u can do anything

Whatever. I paid $400 to get the logo ripped out of the trunk, have the hole welded over and the trunk repainted.

umm.. i'll have to see this at a meet to see what it actually looks like.. don't remember seeing one like that before.. I think it would probably look good aslong as you have the rear rubstrip other wise its too smooth for my tastes.

I had it done a few years ago then transfered from my 99.5 to my 2002.. I received hundreds and hundreds of compliments over it. I'll debadge any car I own, its just my preference.

Umm shaving is expensive, cause you have to respray a good chunk of stuff.
