Hey Ryan, do you have any experience with the Fuzion ZRI tires, or just heard good things about them? I'd pick up a set today since the price is right, I just don't want to buy cheap tires that are just that, cheap. If I can get a better set than those General Exclaims for near the same price, why the heck not? There's so much competition in tires it's hard to choose the best ones. I guess you're supposed to try them all?

If your gonna just daily drive your car, the General Exclaims would be the best option. If your planning on autocrossing and drag racing, look into something else. Be honest with yourself and you will be happy with your decision.

I'll be daily, with maybe a few occasions where I go for a rip (not exceeding the speed limit ) I suppose I will do more of my own research but most people with VW's loved the exclaims.

i had fuzion zris before on my old jetta.. i used them for only 1 season but they were better than my old kuhmo 712s... quiet, sticky good enough for me

Okay, so if I wasn't going to cheap out, what are my options? I feel so noob with so many choices. There are good and bad reviews about every wheel

well i'm like you i'm cheap on tires too other than my winters hahaha

i'm probably buy those iforged in my one thread and i'll be rocking fuzion zris on them LOL i don't give a crap.. i dont' track my car just street drive so i don't need anything killer..

I'd just get a name brand tire on sale rather than a regular priced budget brand. There is usually a special on somewhere.

I think I'm going to pick up a set of Fuzion ZRi from Tirerack not only because of the price but the solid reviews on both 1010tires.com and tire rack. Everyone from 1010tires.com with a 1.8T said they were very good for the price, even with a guy with a big turbo 1.8T had these.

To whoever may care I was considering the following summer tires:

Pirelli PZero Nero - Most expensive*
Kumho Ecsta SPT - 2nd most expensive*
Fuzion ZRi - 3rd most expensive*
Generl Exclaim UHP - Least Expensive*
*all prices are from tirerack, prices may vary from place to place

Pirelli PZero are a nice tire, but a little expensive for me. Came to 900+ for a set on both tirerack and 1010tires.com

Kumho Ecsta SPT are okay, but nothing really stood out to me about them

General Exclaim UHP are dang cheap, but I don't really feel comfortable buying a tire like that

Furzion ZRi seem to be an all round decent tire, and the special on them from tirerack compared to 1010tires.com is what sold me for sure, like ryan had said earlier. They get the job done for a reasonable price, without having any regrets or uncertainties that I may have with General Exclaims that are regular $84.00 at tire rack, makes you wonder....

People who own a variety of cars have these, for instance a Porche Carrera, to Corvette to less sporty cars like a prelude or honda civic have reviewed these (for whatever it's worth) and are really enjoying them. Maybe this will give others in the market for new wheels some insight.

i have the general exclaims, and as mentioned it is a very good every day tire. not a single problem with the tires here.

I have the General UHP on my RC's and I am a very aggresive driver and I have zero complaints about them!
