I think I would need to see it in person. From the pictures it looks way too similar to the Rabbit/GTI. I mean when the corrado was introduced it looked NOTHING like the golf of the day. What's the point of having a car with the same drivetrain, same looks but different name?

See I think it looks very similar to the GTI/Rabbit which is strange choice but personally I would prefer it over a GTI looks wise. The body line are pretty similar to the concept, the front grille is the biggest departure though. I kind of like it personally, the rumored engine is going to be a twin charger like found in the Golf GT.

I loved the aggressiveness of the IROC concept, and they lost all that.

I would still take this design over a GTI though, if it had the same engine.

i like it , its different , gives a different look between the audi big nose and the vw , they were getting very similar before . i think this will filter down to all vws ,

What a pointless car. Im not the slightest bit irked that we aren't getting it here becasue I wouldn't be interested in it even if we did.

Bingo.... exactly my thoughts. The front grill on the concept gave it a great look, and the new front end looks very focus-esque.
