Second question:
As many of you might have saw in my previous post in the lounge, I was going to go all out with a Stage 3+; My eyes were bigger than my wallet. Since that post I have done extreme amounts of reading and have now decided to get a garrett 60 trim or super 60. Many people on the vortex have said very good things about this turbo. I think the stage 3+ is more money and a little more power than I want for a daily driver that will see medium amounts of track use. Anyways, a place called Pag Parts quoted me for a kit consisting of this:
manifold
T3S60 w/ modified actuator/bracket
oil feed line kit
oil return line kit
T restrictror
oil pan adapter
oil return flange kit
3" SS DP w/ vband/clamp
3" inlet piping set
630cc injector set
intank fuel pump kit
mounting stud kit
software
3005 for the above plus shipping.
I wanted to see if anyone local has experience with this turbo and if this price is in the right range for what it is? I am going with less power and keeping the boost low so that I reduce the risk of blowing the stock internals. 240-280hp is perfectly acceptable.
Well thanks again for reading over this lengthy post, and hopefully I'll get out to the next meet so I can get to know some of you and thank you guys in person.
