sorry, i wasn't implying that you declined based on cost. it is a rather largish bill so thats' usually the reason.

they say the belt is good till 140k but like i stated, we live in severe climate therefore the interval for replacing is reduced. i've replaced belts and water pumps even if the pump isn't leaking. also tensioners and rollers too.(TDI)

vovlo has some 160k intervals but they usually won't last past 90k here due to climate.
