OK Here goes.... this is my plan... I have as of now H&R Spot springs which is a 1.5 drop I am thinking about the Race Springs which is a 2" drop... Now do I need to change swaybars and such when doing this or do i just put em on and drive away low...LOL thx for the input...

well apparantly if you drop past 2" with a 1.8T then you need a aftermarket front sway so it won't rub.. although some people don't bother.. i guess you could do it and see if you rub first. merdomes(mike) doesn't currently have one on his 24v and the VR6 is heavier than ours and he said he slightly rubs and he's dropped like 2.25.. you an also do endlinks to lengthen you stock bar.. or try vortex classys for a cheap used one..good luck dude.. i think i'm gonna do the bilstein h&R race setup..

you should definelty rock a front sway when you do the spring install...rear sway isnt as important...I need to pick one up sooner or later tho.

ok well i'll try the springs first cuz the wifey gets a little pissed when i spend money on the car.... heheheh if she only knew how much those R32 pedals were LOL

Another question do I have to change the shocks or are the stock ones OK untill i get some funds come in? Also i read a post on Vortex that some guy cut down his rear bump stops to smoothen out his ride anyone know of this? thx

i would do the shocks if you have the cash now.. since it would save on install labour down the road for shocks then.. go with bilstein sports or koni yellows.. i saw that bumpstop thing today.. seemed kinda fishey but hey if you got guts go for it.. as far as the stock shocks you will go bouncy after a while but if you can handle it then thats fine.. but if i was you do springs and proper shocks now while you can

Well I have the eibach prokit springs that I installed myself and they came with new bump stops which were significantly harder and shorter than the existing ones. If you do plan on getting shocks at some point you would want them installed at the same time so that you can avoid labour charges, but otherwise the stock shocks should last you for at least a while.

H&R Race is too soft for the height and too uncomfortable for the ride. That guy with no aftermarket front swaybar just not driving hard enough on turns. I think the drive shaft cost more than the front swaybar. Oh… And I think the swaybar design on the front is suck. :mrfinger:
