    skid plate help!

    Hey guys I have 2000 gti vr6 and my skid plate was ripped off so I bought a new aluminum one to replace it. I need to drive back to Edmonton by tomorrow. Will I be okay driving with no skid plate? Or would anyone like to lend me a hand installing the new one? I can bring beer?

    Your golden without a skid plate unless you plan on going off roading. 2.0l A4 models have a bikini plate. it's more for stopping all the crap getting into the engine bay. I've seen tons of cars without skid plates at the dealer. Just watch where you drive and you'll be gold.

      just like i told you earlier seb, dont really worry about it. it is not crucial for you to have it, you will be just fine
