You are all wrong.
That warning light only comes on when you run over the neighbours cat and it gets stuck in the left rear wheel well.

ya its the gas cap. i didn't know there was a sensor for that.... this is in a city golf. they don't have low washer fluid lever sensor but they do for an open gas cap???2002 VW Golf GT TDI
