So, I am starting a new job soon that will require me to have a bigger vehicle than my Golf. It's a 2006 VW Golf TDI with about 75,000kms. (Leased at end of 2005 for 4 yrs, so I am halfway through my lease, ie. my lease isn't up until fall of 2009.) I'm looking at either a Passat wagon or a Toureg.
Does anyone have any experience with "upgrading" their vehicle through the dealer? I was planning on buying out this car at the end of the lease, would have financed but the lease rate was just too good to say no. Golf is in great condition, all maintenance etc etc, it's just that I need something bigger.
Think there's any options I have here, aside from finding someone to take over the lease and starting over?
