    So Hello!

I Just joined and have been lurking around too. A guy from work Lars told me about this place. Lots of info and nice whips going down here!!

What i own isn't to fancy, but i still like it and plan on a few mods
    03 VW Golf 2.0L Black

    Future Mod Plans:
-Some 17" Rims don't have a specific set i want yet. Would love vw original 5 spoke alloy rims that come stock on gti, golf, and jetta.
-lower car 1"-1.5"...but still learning of what parts i need and prices.

I installed a cold air intake last week thats pretty much the only mod besides the subs and amp i installed in the summer.
Here is a pic of the car in the summer.

I look forward to getting to know more of you and your cars!

i wouldn't even bother with modding those 2L's. They will always be slow and while you can throw turbo kits they still dont make the car all that fast for the $$$ you are putting into it. Its always a better route to do an engine swap to either a 1.8T or VR6 if you are looking to get any kind of significant performance.
That said many people aren't looking for that, and there is nothing stopping you for making the car look really good. A good set of coilovers and some wheels that are sized properly for the car will go a long way to making the car look good. There are many different front valence options and grille choices to also start making the car look good.

I have set set of barely used factory lowering springs will lower your car 1.5 inches.
