A piller guage pod!

Do any of you that have boost gauges installed on the a piller have side curtain airbags? I just bought Chris' and noticed the warning about not using it if it has side curtains. Why would they even make them in black for the 20th AE GTI's knowing they come standard with side curtain? Any response would be appreciated!

It means that stupid clip sucks ass to get off, and they don't want to be responsible for it, nor explaining how to do it. Anyone who has done it before can get it off pretty quick. Getting the thing back on sucked too.

peter can do it for you.. he said its easy.. actually from the pictures i've seen of the curtain bags blow where the 42dd guage sits it won't ever get hit or tossed at you.. there is like 6-8" from that before the bag starts.. i'm gonna rock one soon.. peters looks awesome in his car specially at night

Cool, I really like the look of the A pillar gauge. My car has the side curtain deal too and thought that it was not a good idea to put a gauge there. Might have to revisit the idea! Maybe another GB?

We don't recommend that you use them on airbag cars (legal response). Off the record... if you still want to install it, I can help you. I've installed my fair share of these things... pretty easy! :thumbsup:

not for me.. right now in dalhousie all we have is a ghetto ass macs.. and when i move to rocky ridge next week i got nothin.. although i heard a sev ev was gonna get built.. i hope i hate having to drive to get a drink when i can walk 20 feet.

yeah, the closest sev is in crowfoot:yahsure: I think sev has a ghetto stigma attached to it so they stopped building them right in residential areas...porn shops on the other hand are considered desireable.:mrpimp:
