Haha! I've heard of someone doing that with a house they bought. Put a HUGE sign up on their front lawn listing all the problems they had and who the builder was. When they threatened him and told him they were going to remove the sign he reminded them that it was private property and the police would be called if they trespassed.

Hilarious! Just get a huge blood thirsty guard dog and chain him to the sign and tell the builders to go ahead and remove it. LOL!

Just think something so small like this thread. 575 people have read it, 575 people have friends that they talk to about this thread. Thats 1150 people that may think twice before buying a VW.

They will be posted soon. CAuse my problem with fuel pump ,and low boost pressure have not stoped (how shocking)

If you cant fix it after the 14th time just keep fixing it.

go to arbitration make sure you have all your documentation in order and time lines are correct.
if loaner vehicles were offered and how many days.
if any compensation was ever offered.
the big one is bring a V.W tech to be a professional witness to testify on
your behalf.
you are going to need some serious back up and somebody that knows the system.
i never lost a case because the consumer always said the wrong thing.
you can force V.W'S hand on this one.

I generally do not delete posts on here, however when things get personal or out of hand I will lock the thread.

We can have some pretty good discussions on here and I try and let them go on, but once things go bad that is the end.

I Think These Discussions Are For The Most Part Good. Lots Of Good Info Can Come From This. And Just For The Record, If My First Experience With Vw Was As Freddy's, I Would Be A Sour Individual Also. People Getting Tired Of Hearing Complaints Are Obviously Not Putting Themselves In This Situation.

Your a good guy Bullfrog i will miss you at Vw. Its not the same there with out you. They made a big mistake, one that i think will cost them clients.

But you know what they say, "They don't know how good you are till your gone".

It is making me think twice about a new GTi. I sold my BMW and want something a little more fun for under $35K. GTi, MS3, Si are the main contenders, I really like the GTi the best but reading stuff like this does make a guy think twice. If I did get one though I would not touch the engine for the fear of what is happening to you.

Freddy Just Got Unlucky, For The Most Part The Mkv's Only Have Minor Issues, and thanks for the kind words freddy. I miss most of the crew there, especially my team, thier good ****, Davey-o, seb-ass, patty, great guys. team g-rae-vy.

What are your issues Freddy? Post them for we are all eager to know how you define LEMON. Please feel free to include all the mods you did while under warranty also....

I own a MK5 (owned an MK1, MK2, and a Scirocco) and and I personally find it insulting to generalize all your issues to a specific brand.

Sure I had an engine light trouble a couple of times, an airbag issue also, and some other little stuff as well. S*** happens, and it will happen.. When buying a new car there is a certain risk component you have to assume when you mod it while under warranty.. It's a gamble. This specific reason is why I have held off on modding my car until the warranty is up.

However I am very happy with VW's new product, and i'm sure there as a majority would agree with me in this Club. And the haters? Whatever man we don't want your kind anyway.

Don't be insulted. This topic could have gone 2 ways. VW was amazing did everything they could or they didn't.

With that said, things happen and not every one can be satisfied however given the facts in this story it does'nt look like he has anything to be satisfied about. Why is it so bad to come here and complain about car/dealer/brand problems?
