What would you do if you bought a brand new car, and its been in the shop for over 110days. Lets not forget the car is less then 17 months old, and the problems are not going away.

Re: What would you do??
Had a quick look at your car and the details posted above. Unfortunately you are kinda screwed at this point I think (unless your lawyer thinks differently). I bought an A3 that I had for a week and then went into the shop for a month. After meeting with the dealership management, we agreed they would buy back my car for what I paid for it. Unfortunately, I think your car is too old to consider that... it would need to be only a couple of months old.
Another option you may have had is the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan, a little known about program that many major auto manufacturers participate in (including Volkswagen and Audi). This is essentially a binding arbitration hearing that is similar to a legal proceeding. You can find out more about it here:
http://camvap.ca/
Check out that site to see if your car is eligible.
The biggest problem that I see is that you have modded your car. I am certain that this is really going to hamper your attempt at redress. I'm not saying don't try, but be realistic.billip

My only mods are TBE and cold air intake, besides my coils that have noting to do with the power train.
I was told before i put the mods in that it would not void my warranty, but it would of been better if i had that in writing.12 VW Golf

Re: What would you do??
i'd be pissed, i get mad when my car has to get worked on for 19 hours to clear me cel. now it has to go back for a recall for the headlight.
i don't know the extent of your problems, i've had minor things that have been cleared up. i would expect nothing from the dealer if that's what your asking.
