  • Rubber Prices....

No not what you are thinking but the rubber for your wheels:mrlaugh: ..
anyways from looking at tiretrends.. why the hell am I going to pay 400/tire when my rims are gonna be that price??? The only cheap supper tire I found was the kuhmo 712 for 188/tire for 225/40/18s. Do the tires you pay 3-400/tire for last like 5 summers or what? I would buy some then but damn thats a lot of money.
What tires are you guys rocking on your non OE wheels?

The kumhos wear really well but they don't have the extreme performance that others do.

          Falken

          No I'm not the rep,

but take a look at the Falken 512's and 451's. They're rated to about 420 and 280 for treadlife respectivley and both price out under $200 per tire. Get positive reviews and look dead sexy.

I'm going with the 512's before the snow flies, I'm a one tire kind of guy.

I don't know if you're looking to spend this much money, but I've heard very good things about the Yokohama AVS ES100. They are definately a very high performance tire, with a similar tread to my Michelin Pilot Sports.... which I can tell you totally rock. I think the Yoko's are about $250 each.

                  i have dunlops fm901, a little over 50% used, $100 a piece if you want them, 225/40zr18.

i wouldnt buy kuhmo, they're cheap. go with something like bfgoodrich, michelin or pirelli, possilby yokohama parada's spec-2. but if you want something cheap just to drive on, i might sell mine, lol.
