  • Starter Problems?

I went to start my Jetta today after a highway drive.
It was parked for about 5 min and when I went to go start it it would turn over but it wouldnt actually start. On my third try it started but it was hesitant. Its been like this for the rest of the night to. Except it starts but its hesitant still.
Any ides on what it could be?
    Thanks

Does it have issues running as well or just starting? Run it through VAG-COM!

Check your basics.. spark, air, fuel. Don't get caught in the "sensor" trap chasing your tail.

did he use bosch plugs,VW is very finicky to electrical.
use regular gas and not premium, better combustion.

Don't you think he should abide by the min. oct. level that he is told to use in the high comp. turbocharged engine. I understand timing will be reduced if pre-detonation is sensed, but you'd figure those engineers would place a sticker on the fuel door telling you to use min. 91 oct. for a reason, if you want to get the most out of your engines capabilities.

my car hates 89, it pings all the way back to the pumps. 91 runs nicely though

I agree with The Brice. I only use premium and will probably only use it.
As for the plugs im not sure if they were bosch but I know they are the platinum ones
Its goes into TuneDub on the 26th
