Any one used or seen this product?

Is it basically a blow off valve that wont throw an engine code?

I was curious if any one could tell me if you would need CAI to hear it or not?

I don't see how. The air has already been metered - if you let some out to make noise, there is now less air than the computer thinks there is. So you'll run rich. Maybe not as rich as blowing off all the air, but enough.

You might as well just get an electronic one with a speaker that just makes the noise when you let off the throttle. Same effect.

Yeah letting metered air out of the intake system is a no-no if you want your car to absolutely drive like stock.

This might work within the tolerances but it will still go rich after the valve opens, even if just for a second.
